"My name is Nora Ventura, my husband and myself were looking for work, so my husband found a page in Facebook for a company called, "New Life Landscape & Tree Service", . My husband spoke to a Dan Pollard and arranged that he would pay my husband 120.00 for a days work and to pay me 100.00 for a days work. We went to work on Thursday 6/21/2018 from 8 am to 9 pm at night, we did not get home until 10:30 ish that night because we live in Cedartown , Ga so we have an hour drive back and forth from there. On 6/22/2018 half day on the 22nd of Jun. We decided to stop working because he was being rude and critical and was being unreasonable with the amount of work and pace of work he wanted. He was rushing us and had no water or anything for us to drink out in the heat. After we asked him to take us back to our vehicle he took his time and was still trying to make us work but we didn't so he finally took us back to our vehicle that was located on Glade Rd. or Old Cherokee Rd. at a Kangaroo Express gas station next to a storage where he keeps his equipment. The "Office", address is ,"5265 Glade Rd SE Acworth,Ga 30102," (don't know if this is his home address or where this is located), but that's the address he gave us. The address for his storage is, "5405 Glade Rd. Acworth,Ga.30102," however we worked one day from sun up to sundown and the next day half day and when we tried to get paid our calls and text went unanswered. We are not the first people that he has done this to he preys on the homeless and people that are on drugs that hang out there at the gas station and live under the bridge and in the woods. We have his number it is 7063079174 he has many sites or pages on Facebook where he advertises his so called company that can not be found anywhere also there was also another young man working with us on 6/22/2018 and he owes him half days worth of work. He also had a woman by the name of Tonia that is supposed to be his secretary or assistant and her son P.J. also working for him out there, not to mention how he boasted about how he has sexual relations with this woman whenever he wants and how they are not in a relationship. I do believe that that this woman and her son have learning disabilities or mental problems. We were out there in the heat while he sat in his truck in the AC. I think the lady told me her son is 18 yrs old but he looked to be around maybe 15 or 16 yrs old anyway he owes us 330.00 for both days and he owes,( David Velasques thats the guy that was working with us )he owes him 50.00 I hope he doesn't get away with this we have phone call logs on our phone and text as proof of us working for him.
