Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"On March 15,2018 a premium of $468. was taken out of our account, the previous premium was $51. I contacted our agent and was told the 20 year term was expired and the premium would go up, we had no prior notice of this. Todd called wash Nat. and asked about the non participating clause with the policy and was told someone would be contacting him. we waited 14 days and heard nothing from them, so I faxed them a cancellation notice post dated to March 9. On April 15 I received a letter dated March 10 that the premium would be going up , so I called them on April 15 and asked why I was just receiving this , and he in formed that they had cancelled the policy on April 9, I asked
for my money to be returned and was told it would take 5 business days. Then I received a bill in the mail for 2 months premium for $941, for March that the already took out and April that they had already cancelled, then I get another letter saying they can't refund my money because I didn't give them 10 day notice prior to the bank draft, If I had known anything about this prior to the bank draft you can bet I would have done something"
