Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I recieved in the mail a card to get discounts at different stores,plus a $100.00 gift certificates,that was a week and a half ago. I have called the phone no# they gave me to ask about the opportunity1-855-328-9004.everytime I call I get hung-up on or RUDELY talked to,I called the customer service no# 1-866-581-4705 and they say I am not in their system,,they have ALREADY took the monthly fee of $29.95 out of my account,but I have NO product!!!Could you PLEASE check into this matter A.S.A.P Thank you"

  • To value/pass::I have resolved the problem w/ this situation,,,my bank found the company that charged my credit card the 29.95.It was not CONNECTED to you or your company nor was it connected to the people who used your name for the sham,that company apologized for the mix-up and took ALL of the SCHEMING information about these people,so they could check into this whole situation.I suggest that you do the same!!I apologize for the mix up,,still and all you should SURELY CHECK into the 1-855-328-0904 phone number,for they are USING your company,s name and customer service number 1-866-581-4705 to SHAM people.It,s your choice,if it were my company,,I WOULD!!!! The ball is in your court. Thank you

The claimant's settlement terms were rejected with the following explanation:
  • I disagree with the explanation / grounds provided

    "Valu-Pass is a discount savings and lifestyle club that is offered to consumers on a 14 day trial period. Along with the membership is the offer to receive a gift card voucher valued at up to $100. At the time of enrollment, full program terms are disclosed and recorded for the protection of the consumer. We have researched our records extensively and do not find this consumer in our system by name or email address provided in this complaint. We do not have any record of charging her for the membership. Our membership program after the trial period is $24.95 per month. We do not offer our program for $29.95 and we do not market by direct mail, so we would not have sent a card in the mail promoting the program. The 855 telephone number referenced in the complaint is not our telephone number. We have received direct correspondence from the consumer, but when we've attempted to contact her back, we do not receive a response. As we are unable to locate an account for her with the contact information given, we are unable to further assist. If she wishes to provide us a copy of her credit card statement showing the $29.95 charge by our company, we will assist her and issue a credit if we in fact charged her. "
