Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"THE STAFF ARE BLATANT RACIST BIGOTS. THEY SHOW OBVIOUS DIFFERENCES IN HOW THEY STAFF THEIR MANY ETHNIC NURSES (GIVING MORE PATIENTS TO NURSES WHO ARE FROM THEIR SHARED COUNTRY). THEY ARE CHEAP AND PAY POORLY, THEY PAT 40-50 DAYS AFTER UR INITIAL VISIT SEEING PATIENTS AND THEN THEY PLAY AROUND WITH YOUR PAYCHECK. THE STAFF ARE UNSEASONED PROFESSIONALS WHO ATTEMPT TO BULLY NURSES AND THROW THEIR WEIGHT AROUND WHEN THE TRUTH IS IN THEIR COUNTRY THEY ARE 3RD CLASS CITIZENS AND MADE TO WALK 200 FEET BEHIND THEIR HUSBANDS AND ARE UNEDUCATED, DIRTY AND PREGNANT MOST OF THEIR LIVES! THEY COME HERE AND TREAT THE US NURSES AS IF WE ARE INSIGNIFICANT BUT WE MAKE YOUR BUSINESS THRIVE. KAISER NEEDS TO BE AWARE OF SUCH CONDUCT SO THAT THEY CAN RETHINK THEIR CONTRACT WITH VALLEY HOME HEALTH. AND THEIR STYLE OF DRESS , FIRE-ENGINE RED HAIR DYE JOBS AND POOR CHOICES OF LIP STICK (OMG). THESE WOMAN GRACE ON SNACKS WHICH ARE STRATEGICALLY PLACED ON THE TABLE IN THE CENTER OF THE OFFICE, NO WONDER MANY OF THEM ARE FAT-ASSES !
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND VALLEY HOME HEALTH IF THEIR SERVICES CAME FREE!!!!!!!!"

  • Add your infoKelly Bascom applied to our company on 06/24/2014. Her 1st visit was on 07/08/2014 after orientation. According the Home Health contract she signed:
a)visits suppose to done on the days authorized,
    b) notes to be submitted within 48 hrs of the visit,
    c) Submit the time sheets with visit notes accordingly.
    d) In part 6.02 of the contract she signed there is a $5.00 deduction from each late submitted note. (She had 21 visits done and all notes were late). No deduction was made.

Check for visits 07/08/2014 - 07/14/2014 in the amount of $225.00 was ready to pick up from the office on 07/31/2014 what she failed to do.
Check for the rest of the visits in the amount of $275.00 is ready as of 08/14/2014. We are holding to mail it because of her incomplete work.

Total amount to pay is $525.00 not $650.00 She has 9 missed visits from her schedule.

Right now we are still missing 3 time sheets of visits.

According our policy we have to report to Nursing Board for failing to do assigned work.

    Regarding her accusations:

Our main concern is that she not professional at all. Nobody has right to harass people for their weight, origin of the country or race. United States is a country of emigrants, in case she has forgotten.

    1. We have multicultural staff. We try to have staff speaking the languages our patients speak.
    2. The amount of patients assigned: we start from less patient assignments to see if the nurse will be able to perform. E.g. a)no patient complaints (which she had with most of patients she was assigned), b) being on time to the patients home (she failed to do so. Her excuse was that she lives in Lancaster and just woke up. Even though she was informed from the beginning the areas we service.) c) being on time with the notes and time sheets (she failed to do as well).
    3. She accepted the pay rate she was offered.

I talked to her last week that she is not ready to work with assignments where visits are authorized and the have a time frame to complete the assignment. (Clarification: Field staff of the home health agencies which have patients with traditional medicare, can see the patient any day of the week. However if patient belongs to HMO/PPO visits are authorized to certain time frame).

Kelly Bascom called the office today and asked her checks to be mailed. We will honor her request as long as she completes her missed work, that is submitting 3 missing time sheets. Time sheets are signed by the patient during nursing visit. It is a proof of the visit.
