Claimant says:
"On March 31, 2016 my V.A. Compensation check and my Civil Service Retirement check was direct deposited into my checking account. I went into the bank to purchase a cashier's check in the amount of $1,834.00 for spousal support to my ex wife and made a $800 withdrawal from the teller. On April 1, 2016 I found that USAA exercised their rights to terminate my account or close my account permanently. A check was deposited into my account which was made payable to me in the amount of $978.00 from someone I dont know. The check was put on hold which froze my account and i could not get access to my funds.

My own investigation revealed that USAA had withdrawn an additional $1,834 from my savings stating that I purchase another cashier's check for $1,834.00. I have numerous automatic payment coming out of my checking account such as my car payment loan to USAA, my USAA automobile insurance and renter's insurance etc. I could not pay my rent, my cable bill, electic bill and mobile phone bill. Now bill collector's are coming out of the wood work because of USAA's blunder.


I want to sue USAA for damages and punitive damages for $2,000,000 for emotional distress, falsely accusing me of defrauding the bank and for ruining my reputation with the USAA banking community that I have committed fraud by their actions of closing my account permanently."
