Claimant says:
"At the beginning of the NEW YEAR(2016) I received an email from Transunion stating I was entitled to a FREE CREDIT REPORT. Since I had never had need for one, I thought it would be interesting to see what was shown on the INTERNET & since it was FREE I decided to fill out the ONLINE FORM to see the result(s)...I filled in my name and address but when it asked for my SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER I immediately 'SMELLED A RAT' & MARKED THE EMAIL AS 'SPAM' & deleted it since I give out my SSA to NO ONE & have never done so other than the IRS and SOCIAL SECURITY.
LAST WEEK I WAS UPDATING MY CREDIT UNION ACCOUNT AND NOTICED I HAD BEEN CHARGED $17.95 ON FEBRUARY 6TH AND UPON FURTHER INVESTIGATION HAD ALSO BEEN CHARGED THE SAME AMOUNT ON JANUARY 6TH, BOTH FROM TRANSUNION!...I immediately called the TOLL FREE NUMBER SHOWN (800-493-3292, AND A STREET ADDRESS (100 CROSS STREET #202 US).
When a person answered whom spoke only 'BROKEN ENGLISH' which I could not understand since I am 73 years old & hard of hearing I asked my wife Gloria to pick up the other phone & join the conversation. She also had difficulty understanding & after speaking with 4 people, all of whom could not speak good ENGLISH after we had requested to speak with someone who did, we still could not understand clearly what they were telling us in total, but enough to realize they were claiming I had ordered the report at a monthly cost of $ 17.95 ON THE SIXTH OF EVERY MONTH AND SINCE I HAD FAILED TO 'CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION' BEFORE SEVEN DAYS WERE UP THEY WERE DEDUCTING SAME EVERY MONTH ELECTRONICALLY!
When I informed whomever I was speaking with that I had not ordered anything & even had I done so, it was supposed to be free!!....I asked them how they were able to access my ACCOUNT SINCE I HAD NOT GIVEN THEM THAT INFORMATION AS WELL AS NOT GIVING THEM MY SSA!....AFTER A LONG PAUSE SOME WOMAN STATED SHE WOULD REFUND $17.95 BUT NOTHING MORE!
IT IS OBVIOUS I WAS 'HACKED' AND AFTER FURTHER INVESTIGATION FOUND THEY WERE LOCATED SOMEWHERE IN CENTRAL AMERICA AND HAD OVER 60 COMPLAINTS FROM OTHER PEOPLE WHOM ALSO HAD BEEN 'SCAMMED'!
THESE PEOPLE SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED AND THROWN IN JAIL AND FORCED TO RETURN EVERY CENT THEY 'SCAMMED' OUT OF POOR INNOCENT FOLKS LIKE MY WIFE AND I!..We exist on my paltry SOCIAL SECURITY MONTHLY PAYMENT and barely survive as a result, so $36.90 (17.95 X 2 plus 1.00 HANDLING FEE) may not sound like much but to us it's a lot!!!

PLEASE CONSIDER INVESTIGATING THESE 'CROOKS' AND INDICTING THEM AS LORD ONLY KNOWS HOW MANY OTHERS ARE ALSO BEING CHEATED!

I ALSO HAD TO CANCEL MY DEBIT CARD SINCE THAT IS WHAT THEY WERE USING TO ACCESS MY ACCOUNT EVEN THOUGH I HAD NOT GIVEN THEM THAT INFORMATION!..Now I have the aggravation of having to apply for a new DEBIT CARD and cannot access my account online until I receive my new card!

  • At 73 years of age and what you did to me, I can't help but wonder how many more INNOCENT PEOPLE, ESPECIALLY SENIOR CITIZENS LIKE MYSELF, YOU HAVE 'BILKED' OUT OF THEIR MEAGER INCOME(S) AND ARE FORCING THEM TO GO WITHOUT NECESSARY ITEMS SUCH AS MEDICATION(S) ET AL AS A RESULT!
    In my case, I also had to CANCEL MY DEBIT CARD WHICH RESULTS IN AN INCONVENIENCE TO ME SINCE I AM ON DISABILITY AND CAN NO LONGER ORDER NECESSARY ITEMS ONLINE SINCE TRAVEL IS EXTREMELY HARD!

    YOU 'CROOKS' MUST BE INVESTIGATED,INDICTED & SENT TO PRISON!....ONE CAN'T HELP BUT WONDER HOW MUCH MONEY YOU HAVE ALREADY
    'CHEATED' INNOCENT PEOPLE OUT OF!!!!....I PERSONALLY WILL NOT 'REST' UNTIL YOU ARE BROUGHT TO JUSTICE!!!!
