Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I was at fred Meyers #M701 on 05/12/2013, I went in o use the restroom in the handicap stall and went to sit down and the tolet seat was loose I started to slide off and tried to grab the safty bar on the wall and could not fast enough I then sliped off the tolet and on to the floor I hurt my hip and knee and my hip,my friend was in the batroom with me and helped me,I could hardly walk ,we went out to check stand and explained what happened after a while waiting for the right person to help me they had to bring me a chair I could not stand any longer I filled out complaint I asked if I could get ice pack and some asprin THEY TOLD ME THEY COULD NOT HELP ME,MY FRIEND AND I WENT HOME AND I TRIED TO RELIVE THE PAIN,THE NEXT DAY I WAS ALL BRUSED AND REALY SORE I WENT TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM FOR X-RAYS I WAS TOLD I TWISTED MY ANKEL IT HAD SORTA SLID UNDER THE TOLET AS I WAS TRYING TO CATCH MY SELF,i RECEIVED A CALL FROM THE COMPANY AND SAID THEY WOULD LOOK INTO IT,i RECEIVED A CALL FROM kATHERINE iDE AND TOLD ME THEY WERE NOT RESPONSABLE AND THAT THE BATHROOMSWERE JUST SERVICED (WHEN THEY SERVICE RESTROOMS DO THEY SIT ON THE TOLETS ?) SHE TOLD ME IT WAS ALL DOCUMTATED,i THEN RECEIVED A LETTER FROM HER SAYING THEY ARE NOT RESPONSABLE FOR MY MEDICAL BILL,i AM DIABETIC AND DONT HEAL WELL AS OF TO DATE iM STILL HURTING"

  • I had to go to er room again last night,my ankle has not healed and I twisted it,being diabetic and no feeling so now I have walking cast on I have a fractured ankle,I now have extra medical bills my insurance does not cover,I cant drive right now I have to stay home with foot elevated all day

  • I have contacted Marysville store again about this matter and have talked to gary hassle he told me he would have some one contact me,the person who did call her name is Katherine ide,I was told again by her its not fred Meyers responsibility,I then asked for her supervisior carol page and left message I have not received a call back,I now have contacted dist office in Lynnwood per gary from Marysville,I have not heard from her
