Claimant says:
"I live in a senior apartment complex that is located next door to the Cowboy's ATT Stadium in Arlington, TX. I am starting my 3rd season of being physically held hostage in my own home during most events held at the stadium.
For the sports events where they have tailgating ALL STREETS that allow us senior citizens to get back to our home are blocked, barricaded and guarded by city employees and police officer and we literally have to drive around in circles with hopes of finding a hole we can dart thru.
This is so very unfair for the City of Arlington to allow this actions. Please help up...............
The noise level these tailgaters are allowed to get away with is totally unbareable. They start at 8:00 am and go on until 11:00 pm. they are so loud we can not sleep, we can not hear our TV without having their music interfering, we can not enjoy a peaceful day. We can not leave our home during a game because we can not get back home until the game is over.
The indecency we are forced to endure from these people is shameful. Just this past Saturday at the A&M game men would climb over the fence to get onto the apartment property go behind our garage and urinate. A watched a couple stand next to our gate into the apartment the girl pulled up her skirt, spread her legs and urinated, then the guy followed.
Is it because we are senior citizens and the City of Arlington feels we deserve no respect and have no rights to be heard about this.
I will continue to raise this issue until someone hears me and gives us the respect we so deserve.
I hope I do hear something ASAP I am really unhappy with how we are being treated."
