Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"On April 12th I received a phone call offering a free bottle of Pure Garcina drops, the guy stated that all I would have to pay is the shipping for the bottle and that by receiving the bottle I would be able to participate in their cash for pounds program. Which is a 90 day program that they will reimburse you $5 for every pound you lose. The guy continued to state that by participating in this program I would be eligible to receive the second and third bottles at half price, but if at any time within 15 days from the order date I could call and cancel and no further charges would be made. He ended the call upselling a workout DVD for free if I paid the shipping, with the same cancellation stipulations. He took my credit card information and then he took my email address and said I would receive an email with all of this information, which I never did.

On April 17th, I received a small pouch with only the DVD, bottle and a packing slip, still no instructions or stipulations. I then called to cancel and spoke to numerous customer service agents who told me that I had agreed to the second and third shipments when I made the original purchase and then hung up on me numerous times. I contacted my credit card company to stop further charges from this company, but with no way to get ahold of them my hands were tied.

On May 12, I received another shipment with 2 bottles and 2 DVD's showing a bill for $89.95 + 9.95 S&H and $38.95 and $2.95 S&H for the DVD's

I called again on May 13th, and was once again told I was unable to return them and once again hung up on.

This company is obviously a scam, and all I want is to be done with them. I will be happy to return their products but will not be paying them any more money to be treated so terribly."

  • I bought the three bottles of Garcinia Cambrogia. I told the caller that I didn't like negative options. She assured me that it was easy to cancel. Never got the email confirmation of the original purchase but received the three bottles and the first DVD. Still no information about cancelling the rest of the DVDs.
    Today, I got my 'next two' DVDs, one was a duplicate of the first. I also got someone else's packing slip with address and payment information. So I'm worried that MY information went to someone else!
