Claimant says:
"I lived in Twin Oaks Apartments for two years August 2010 to July 2012.
These are one of the many Apartment buildings owned by Jason Wood in
Livingston, Al. I signed a lease for only one year. When we viewed the apartment
several couples, we saw the damage to the apartment but no check list was completed. When I moved out I gave a thirty day notice and requested a walk through after we cleaned the apartment. There were iron burn marks in the carpet in my bedroom and there was a broken place on the baseboard under the kitchen sink which we were told would be fixed and it never was fixed. We called on move out date to get someone to check the apartment and no one would come. There was no one to even leave the key
so I mailed it back to them certified mail and requested my deposit be returned. My deposit has never been returned to me and I have spoken with several persons who have
lived in his apartments and that they never return deposits. My apartment was clean with the exception of the burner covers. This is a very unreputable owner and I would never recommend any of his apartments to anyone. I regret not moving into the dorm."
