Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I sent this letter to the company thru their website: "I've been visiting Carolina Beach, NC for many, many years and have eaten in many restuarants as well. On August 7, 2010 my family and I went to Michael Angelos Pizza, which we've done in the past. Got to the cash register, where Jamie I, took care of us. and after I put the order in, my credit card did not slide correctly. she yelled "stop the order" to her worker. I said "excuse me?" said said it didn't go thru and I explained to her that the money is there so please do this correctly. Her attitude was very unacceptable. I asked for a manager and she was asked to leave the regsiter. Then that somehat called manager, Dave Miller, approached and took car of the issue. I asked dave for her to apologize for the childish and inappropriate attitude. She did, very unporfessionally. As we sat down and ate, I explained to my daughters that the attitude they just saw was totally unacceptable and they can get fired, which is what I am praying you do with Jamie and Dave. While explaining this to my children, David yells across the restuarant "can you please stop taling about that" and I responded, that I do have the righjt to speak and how they are a good example tomy children on how not to act on a job and how professional this place is. As we were about to leave, we noticed everyone left the dishes on the table, so we did the same. As we were leaving, he yelled out "you could clear your table you know" So I ignored him and kept walking. A few steps later, Jamie came outside the door and said "good bye bitch". Unbelieveable! I went back in and told the somewhat called manager Dave what was told to me. He said "just get out of here". I just don't understand where these employees of yours got their training or manners from! Well, it gets better. This morning, I'm checking my checking account balance and noticed that dear David charged me twice! Now, I don't have much in this account so I just might be bouncing some checks. This whole matter is totally unacceptable. I expect for my card to be credited immediatly and would like a notice from the company stating that they've both been fired. and if for some crazy reason you decide not to fire them, i will be sending a letter to the BBB and the city of carolina beach and everyone, everwhere else I need to go. In addition, i will let all my friends and family that go to carolina beach and peple i meet in carolina beach, not to go to Michaelangelos. Attached, please find my receipt and my checking account showing where I was charged twice. I do need someone to contact me asap so we can avoid any checks from bouncing. Very upset Customer, Jasmin Watson."
I have not heard back from anyone as of today. I am hoping this will go on record and they will receive a notice so those two employees will be dismissed.Their address in Carolina Beach is 9 South Lake Park Boulevard, Carolina Beach 28428 - 910-458-4100. I didn't contact anyone in this office because I don't know if David would be the one they have me speak to.
please advise what action should be taken for other not to experience this horrible moment.
Thank you
Jasmin Watson"
