Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"Kirk, owner of MD Septic, was asked to fix a small septic problem - making the hole larger to be within code. He then created some sort of additional work without agreement or permission, and charged $200. Then he charged me $300 for an inspection that was not asked for AND a service fee. He then created a new electrical unit under the floor of my deck - again, with no permission and no agreement - leaving a hole in the deck. My electrical system failed after the work he did. I told him he had to go back and fix the breaker AND fix the hole he left in the deck, during which time he broke into my house to 'fix' my A/C which had nothing whatsoever wrong with it (the problem was in the breaker, not the new thermostat) and then charged me for a 'service call' (he had to go fix the hole in the deck that he created without approval) to fix my AC (which I never asked him to fix) and gave me a bill for $180 for 'electrical problems' and to 'redo the deck' caused by the hole he created~ Plus, the work he did on the deck left the deck with over $5,000 worth of damage. He created an enormous mess that should have been 20 inches, and because 3 feet of bad wood and bad paint job, creating the need for the deck to be redone as his work was so badly done it could not be repaired. Horrid. Just Horrid. PLus, he took it upon himself to cut the deck open to do some unbidden electrical work and he's not even an electrician!"
