Claimant says:
"Absolutely no offer of assistance of any kind while in this store. Several men in red Lowe's vest walked past my grandson aand I as we struggled to load 10 2x4's and 2 3/4" sheets of MDF. There was a Mexican guy sitting at a desk laughing at our plight, who never offered assistance or to call somebody else to help us. I told him I had never seen such poor service in my life and he said "Oh, did you need help?"..and laughed again. When we finally made our way to the register and paid the bill, I asked to speak to the manager, and it turned out HE was one of the people who had walked right past us. When I told the cashier this, she called somebody else for me to complain to, who ended up turning it all back on me that I should have asked for help. Since when does a customer have to ASKED to be helped...when it is obvious help is needed? He then turned his back and walked away...never offering to help us load the stuff into our truck. I will NEVER set foot in that store again, and I will let everyone I know about how I was treated there. I am destroying my Lowe's card after many years of frequent use and will do all my shopping at Home Depot."

  • Sorry to hear about the incompetence and rudeness of the staff. Where did this happen, where is this store located? Others might want to avoid it too.
    It's a pity that retail stores don't understand that they need great customer service along with small prices, or people will just go away and not return. When will they learn?
