"MY CHEVY CAMARO WAS TOWED 35 MILES FROM MY WORK PLACE AT : 17 MECHANIC STREET, CARMEL N.Y. TO : LOU REESE' AUTO REPAIR AT- 358 MANSION STREET , POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. 12601 , BY A " AAA" TOW COMPANY , LAST APRIL 10, 2013 . REESE' SHOP IS A FEW BLOCKS FROM MY HOUSE.
LOU REESE DETERMINED MY CAMARO NEEDED A FUEL PUMP. LOU REESE TOLD ME TO INSURE I NOT BE RIPPED OFF BY THE AUTO PARTS STORE , I SHOULD GIVE HIM $425.00 FOR HIM TO BUY THE PART , INSTEAD OF ME BUYING IT WITH MY CREDIT CARD. I WENT TO THE BANK WITHDREW THE CASH AND RETURNED TO LOU REESES' SHOP AND GAVE HIM $425.00 . LOU REESE DID N0T GIVE ME A RECEIPT. LOU REESE SAID THE CAMARO WOULD BE READY THE FOLLOWING DAY ,WITH A NEW FUEL PUMP INSTALLED.
I WENT BACK TO LOU REESES' CAR REPAIR SHOP THE NEXT DAY TO GET THE CAMARO, LOU REESE CHARGED ME $300.00 FOR LABOR , WHICH I PAID TO HIM IN FULL. LOU REESE GAVE ME NO RECEIPT . I NEEDED TO LEAVE FOR WORK HAVING A ONE HOUR DRIVE TO CARMEL, N.Y. I THANKED LOU REESE AND I DROVE TO WORK .
THE CAMARO DROVE WITH STALLING PROBLEMS THE NEXT FEW MONTHS. I WAS PROMOTED TO A NEW LOCATION NEAR HOME IN POUGHKEEPSIE N.Y. ON JUNE 28,2013. THE CAMARO DROVE OK FOR ANOTHER FEW WEEKS, BUT HAS NOT SINCE.THE CAMARO CUTS OFF AND ALL POWER IS LOST.
I BELIEVE LOU REESE TOOK OUT THE FUEL PUMP THAT WAS IN MY CAMARO , HE CLEANED IT UP SOME AND REINSTALLED MY SAME FUEL PUMP. MY 2000 CHEVY STILL NEEDS A FUEL PUMP, AND HAS SAT IN MY DRIVEWAY SINCE JULY 2013.
I DID NOT CONFRONT LOU REESE AS I HAVE ADVANCED PROSTATE CANCER , I AM UNDER CHEMO THERAPY, AND CANNOT HAVE ANY STRESS IN MY LIFE.
