Claimant says:
"KCSO shot my English Mastiff while doing a welfare check at Fairfax and Niles on Thanksgiving Day. 2020 The report I have of the incident has many discrepancies and or untruthful statements in the report. My English mastiff named Country Girls 2 years was shot in the back between her shoulder blades which shattered her spine. She was paralyzed, she could not stand up, and her stomach bladder and bowels could not function.
I was advised by my vet at BVH that she would never be able to stand up, much less walk again even with thousands of dollar rehab for years would not make her able to walk due to her size and that the spine was shattered. I had to put her to sleep so not to suffer.

I still cry every day missing her playfulness licking my face to wake me in the mornings and sleeping at the foot of my bed, She did not attack anyone when she was shot by the irresponsible officer. If 3 rounds were fired to stop an attack he fired towards the victim who is a friend and neighbor. Also shooting his fire arm in the direction of a busy parking lot at Foodmax. The dog that jumped to greet Rubin but was not bitten he was gouged at his waist with Wyatts dewclaw (Country Girls brother.) or a bullet. They all will sit stay come on command but Wyatt still likes to jump and lick your face. Country Girl was shot running towards another friend that walks her. She must have seen or sensed him walking eastbound behind ARRANDS furniture store to Fairfax.."

  • KCSO MONSIBIAS OVER REACTED FIRING FIREARM 3 ROUND AT MY HUSBAND A TEEN AGER THAT APPROACHED THE DOGS AND OUR 4 DOGS ALSO IN THE DIRECTION OF FOODMAX PARKING. THE ENGLISH MASTIFF HE SHOT IN THE BACK SHATTERING HER SPINE WAS AT LEAST 35 FEET AWAY FROMANYONE RUNNING AWAY. BUT HE SHOT OVER HIS PATROL CAR 2 LANES OF TRAFFIC AND TOWARDS THE HANDLER AND A TEENAGER FRIEND THAT WAS GOUGED WITHA DEWCLAW BY THE SIBLING OF THE DOG THAT WAS SHOT. I AM RETIRED FROM KC ANIMALCONTROL AND KNOW THAT YOU TAZE SNARE AND THE QUARANTINE A DOG THAT MAY HAVE BITTEN SOMEONE NOT SHOOT TO KILL
