Claimant says:
"I attempted to purchase a car; the owner (Ron) told me I had to have a significant amount down before he could releasse the car in my posession. I have given him $2100.00 and concluded that the car was insufficent, and I could not afford no long term payments of $260.00 based on my income. I am on a fixed income of $713.00 and the maintainence alone would be overwhelming for me. So after 3 months I called and told him I could not afford the car and would like to have a percentage of my deposit back. "HE REFUSE"!!!!! He said because he held the car for 3 months, could have made a sale he did not feel reliable to refund me my money. After a conversation with him informing him that I was going to seek action against him with the DMV Inspectors; he called me and said he would cut me a check for 400.00. I never drove the car, the car was never in my possession. Can something be done to help me get my money? ASAP, $2100.oo, in possession of my money."
