"Kaitlyn Gormley has sent several emails to supervisor and GAL and our attorney. This is a copy of one of the emails sent? Hello Larry and Jan-
Rachel and myself had a meeting with DCF on Tuesday to discuss the recent investigation and how we will move forward with grandparent visits. It is our understanding that the Pittsburg KVC CPA has decided to close your foster license due to concerns with discipline techniques. At this time, KVC and DCF has decided that KVC will continue with supervised visits between you and the children, either at the Olathe KVC office or in the community. Additionally, it was decided that Lindsey will have the choice of whether or not she participates in the visits. Please contact me (913-956-5268 or my email) to set up visitation dates and times.
The problems with our foster care license was due strictly to the fact that we had been investigated 3 times even though all three times the investigation was unsubstantiated. Then they use this information that has been documented as being false maliciously to keep us from visiting with our grandkids."
