Claimant says:
"I took my 1992 Nissan Pathfinder to Joe to fix my headlights, he refused to return my vehicle to me and 3 days later forged my name on the title, (which was in my glove box as I was in process of moving)! All my vehicle needed was a headlight switch, (I had this problem before and put one in it out of the junkyard, which didn't last), he told me my bill was over $700!! For a headlight switch???? Unbelievable! 3 days later he told me he sold it, he said I couldn't pay for it! Really?? I never told him that and since when does a business sell your vehicle in 3 days? I had $5000 into this truck, I would never have sold it! He never showed me any receipts, I never signed any payment agreement or authorization to fix it! I never even saw the vehicle again!! I don't know that it was really even worked on! He kept telling me he was bringing it to me but always made an excuse not to. He even got pulled over in it late at night and unknown to me this man doesn't even have a driver's license! He went to jail and he called one of his shop buddies to get my pathfinder! Shouldn't I have been the one called?
Now I see on craigslist for Colorado Springs my pathfinder for sale for $850!! I can positively identify it! There are certain unique things I did to it and put on it!! The ad now says that it is leaking oil into the engine and some college boy is trying to sell it. I can even do a handwriting sample and I guarantee the signature that was on that title was NOT mine! He had no right or permission to sell my vehicle out from under me! Because of this Joe Drake has caused me great financial and emotional stress. I no longer even have my transportation to get to work. Joe refuses to answer my calls, hanging up on me as soon as he hears my voice!
Joe lied to me, stole from me and took advantage of me! I don't want to see any other hardworking, trusting citizen, especially a woman which is who he preys on, have to go threw the emotional and financial disaster that I have!"
