Claimant says:
"I spoke with Sue at the BBB and she said they are rated F. My complaint: 2 years ago I paid them$1500.00 to refurbish my wood shingle roof. I was on my porch roof this summer & found it in terrible condition. I called 5 roofers for quotes on bringing my roof up to standard when Irish would not reuturn calls. Each roofer stated my upper roof had many spaces open to the sun which destroys the tar paper and begins leaking. Since I have had no shingles falling to the ground since the repair I knew Irish had done an inferior job. After the quotes I called Irish again to come & complete the job they failed to do 2 years ago. No response. So I called one more time & told them I was reporting them to the BBB, the District Attorney, & the Attorney General. They were at my home that evening & stated they would fix the roof
with 350 shingles & I would be happy. Came the next day & spent about 1 or 1 1/2 hours putting in many very narrow split shingles over the bare showing tar paper.
They used no method of making sure the shingles would
no slide out in the coming winter weather. I called them on it and they said that is the correct procedure. Because I continued not to trust him, he put almost no full wood shingles on the roof after telling me he'd bring 350 shingles, I brought in another roofer for a quote.
He looked over the roof and confirmed to me about the shoddy recent repairs. I called Irish & stated I would do what I had said before--going to the BBB, District Atty., and the Attorney General of Colorado. Still no response."
