Respondent has rejected claimant's terms. This claim will remain posted until mutually
acceptable terms are agreed to.
The claimant's settlement terms were rejected with the following explanation:
"May 24, 2019
RE: Claim #1636136-266184: Merle Nylander
International Travel Solutions is a licensed and bonded travel fulfillment company that has made a significant investment in technology to provide a platform that allows consumers the ease of use and creates a comparative pricing module which in turn enables consumers to make a fully informed decision on discounted travel accommodations. To ensure a satisfactory experience for all members, ITS not only provides a white glove service but also removes all commissions in order to offer accommodations at net rate.
International Travel Solutions does not directly sell products and/or services to consumers. ITS works with different sales entities to market our platform and services. ITS does not receive any money paid to these entities and therefore we are unable to authorize a refund. ITS receives a quarterly fee of $69.00 which has been cancelled as requested by Mr. Nylander.
To date, ITS has not received any phone calls and/or request from Mr. Nylander for assistance with his membership. In the event Mr. Nylander would like to review the savings offered, ITS Reservations Management would be glad to assist him with how to take advantage of his membership benefits as well as the price match guarantee policy provided within his contractual agreement.

International Travel solutions should review specific issues with travel booking company and negotiate on their customer's behalf.
More... Vote for thisInternational Travel Solutions has made a reasonable response, but it doesn't go nearly far enough.
Why can't the claimant use the benefits? Are they not as described (which is common) or is the claimant terminally ill, or similar? Most complaints I read or hear about travel booking companies state that the buyer is promised massive discounts, but can either not get bookings in a timely fashion (or for the dates requested) or can get much cheaper rates on their own. I would strongly recommend that the claimant adds more detail, or the company contact him/her and asks for those details.
If the benefits weren't as they were described at the ITS sales pitch, then International Travel Solutions should contact the fulfillment company on their customer's behalf to ask for a refund. These packages often cost in the thousands and deliver nothing. If International Travel Solutions is an honest broker, they should be extremely concerned about the product they are selling.
I'm glad to see that ITS has stopped the quarterly fees, but it needs to go further. It must have its customer's contact information, so it should not wait to hear from him.
