Claimant says:
"A salesman came out and measured 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom for windows. i signed for what I believed was 3 bedroom and 1 bathroom window. We were told we had to sign up that day to get 20% When they came out to install I was told I was only getting 4 windows because one bedroom had 2
windows in it. I could not get any resolution for Home Depot. I was charged for 6 windows (as the salesman told me when i signed the contract) When i told him this he said no he only put in for 4 windows. I reminded him he measured all my windows and why would i not replace my master bedroom and only do the bathroom. I feel this was a bait and switch. i would have never agreed to pay $3803 for 4 windows."

  • This sounds absolutely bizarre. Can you attach the contract? If the salesman measured all windows it is very strange that he would not price the package with all the windows that were measured.

    You are right, that is quite a lot of money for windows unless they're specialty windows or large windows. I haven't priced windows at Home Depot but I've priced them at Lowe's, and the kind of windows you get discount packages on are much less expensive, installed.
