"MY WIFE AND I WERE COMPLETELY MISREPRESENTED, DUE TO MANY CHANGES IN THE CONTRACT WHICH WAS CHANGED AFTER SIGNING, COULD NOT CONTACT A REPRESENTATIVE. CONTRACT WAS SIGNED 8/27/2015. WE WERE ADVISED THAT FISHERMANS COVE WAS NO LONGER A TIMESHARE, BUT WAS NOW A TRAVEL CLUB.. WAS ALSO ADVISED THAT IF WE DO NOT GO WITH THE TRAVEL CLUB, AND WANTED TO STAY WITH RCI, THEN OUR MAINTENANCE FEES WOULD GO INTO THE THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS DUE TO LOSS OF MEMBERS, (QUOTED BY A MR. TURNER). MOST INFORMATION IN THE CONTRACT WAS CONTRARY TO WHAT WE WERE TOLD. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND UNABLE TO GET ANY WRITTEN INFO OF ALL THE CHANGES. CONSUMER FRAUD IS OBVIOUS TO ME SINCE MANY CHANGES WERE MADE AFTER SIGNING, ALONG WITH MISREPRESENTATION AND UNABLE TO PROVIDE WRITTEN, CHANGES TO THE CONTRACT."

  • What Mr. & Mrs. Kellner are experiencing is Buyers' Remorse. The complaint itself is full of lies. The vacation club they are talking about is not a replacement for their timeshare at all; just a free option we offered them because of their complaints. They claim Mr. Turner, me, told them their maintenance fees would be thousands of dollars which is absolute fantasy. We have not raised our fees in the past several years and do not intend to in the near future. They are claiming fraud with absolutely no basis in fact. They are slandering our resort and demanding money. If they really believe all that, then they should take the matter to court. They never will because they have no case.
