Claimant's opinion: We performed medical transcription work to this company from about June 20, 10. We are supposed to invoice ONLY on receipt of the line count for that month and they pay 6cents per line. Almost every month I have to beg them for line count. Normally i expected in the first week of the following month. IT IS NOT SO. Then after 28 days I have to beg again for line count and payment. For Aug payment was made in Nov and for Sept, payment wasmade in Dec. For these payments, 7% cut was made from the invoiced amount (according to their requested and their line count). IT IS UNFAIR. Still I have to receive payment for the months oct, Nov & Dec. They were supposed to pay us full by end of Jan. On feb 8th, I enquired if the check was made out. This is the response I got " Your check has been mailed. Please do not send any Emails telling me when and what I need to mail to you. There has been quite a bite of severe weather conditions. Check with your local post office." I have sent 3 emails and 2 voice messages to issue a substitute check as I have not received any thing as of today. Now I demand:1) Full payment as per invoices for Oct, Nov & Dec - - $1,350.002) Restore 7% cuts made for Aug & Sept - - 150.003) Costs 150.00Total $1,650.00
