Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"Hello my name is Gina Flores, I've been a DirectTv customer since 2008. I contacted DirecTv to inform them that I got laidoff from my job & was not able to pay my bill that was sometime in the middle of 2012. The customer service I spoke was nice & said she will give me a lower service plan so I can continue being a customer. I stated I will try it & see if it does work out in my budget. I made the payment in August of 2012 & after that I was unable to continue on. The customer stated she was going to ship out boxes to me sometime but I have never received them. I believe maybe she did not make a note of it so it can be sent to me & I got charged for the month of Septemeber/October & November. I did not receive the boxes until the end of Oct 30th 2012 then I shipped out the devices on Nov 9th 2012. I feel that the customer service made an error & I should of not been charged for those months or I should be reimbursed some of my money back. During that time I have been looking for work & just waiting for the boxes to be sent to me.

  • Was there any form of deposit made for DIRECTV Services in 2008? Usually whatever is deducted the customer recieves some of it back provided customer has met terms of agreement, or not an outstanding bill. There is also feature located on DIRECTV website customer service, click customer to terms of agreement info. Then click on to view customer agreement. There is a part for resolving disbutes with a telephone number and mailing address. Taken into consideration what you have stated and years with DIRECTV hopefully this can help with claim process.
