Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"On Jan. 20, 2012, I purchased a Bridal dress and other items from David's Bridal. Unfortunately I, the mother of the bride, had a broken ankle, then surgery, and then to top it off the wedding was cancelled. I then went to David's to see what could be done. When purchased it was explained to me that thie items must be paid by July , 2012, with no interest. When I went to them to ask what could be done they returned the dress and the extra items that were never taken out of the packages I ended up paying for. When I went to them I asked what I would owe after the credit of the dress. The Manager that I was working with told me the exact amount of $385.01 must be paid by the end of March. I issued a check on March 30, 2012 for that amount and added to the credit paid the bill in full of $966.95. I asked the manager if this would be all. She told me as long as I pay the $385.01 by the end of the month, it would be paid in full.

I received a bill in the mail for $25.00 in the month of May. I called them on May 29, 2012, asking why I owe anything when I was told I would be paid in full with my final check. I do not believe I owe them any more money. I was told that they could send me the rules on the charge. I feel this is a little late since I was told I would be paid in full. I believe this is totally unfair when I tried to finalize this all at one time.

I look forward to your help in this matter."
