Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"Mr. Mathieu didn't act professionally as a bank manager when in 2006 I came to him with two bank statements for my checking account showing where $70,000.00 was deposited and one showing where it was removed by another bank employee. I didn't get to write a check for this money to be removed. His answer was "we're not going to give you this money" not what a depositor wants to hear when they are inquiring about their money. He should have asked me to sit down and discuss my banking problems as any bank manager should do. I called a Chase bank in Mentor OH and was told they were not allowed to talk to me or view my bank statements. I was given a number to call to get answers as to why and it was Mr. Mathieu's number. He told me he looked at my papers when in fact he didn't only the one about the $70,000.00 I also needed to know who removed money from my Money Market Savings in 1992 and invested it in a Banc One Securities account which I didn't learn of until 2007. Also another $373,437.47 that was removed form the same account."

  • Being in a grieving state of mind in 1992 and depositing the insurance checks in the bank and believing a bank is the safest place to put your money as we have been told I didn't worry after the deposit. I only remembered the money was deposited not as to what account so how could I call to have money removed from the account as the bank statements suggest. I did call the number on the Trust account papers because I had statements for that
    account. I want other depositors to know about my experience as to protect themselves. Mine was an extreme case I feel because i was in a grieving state of mind. There are several bank employees involved in removing money from my various accounts plus some people i'm not aware of because I wasn't told of the transactions. This took 20 years of my life living in discontent. None of these people have been charged.
