Claimant says:
"In late Feb/18 I drove to my TD bank on Sunrise Blvd. Ft. Lauderdale and had them issue an 'Official Check' payable to Comcast.  Next, I drove to the Comcast offices on Federal Highway in Ft. Lauderdale to deliver the check.  It surprised me that they took the information from the check, inputted into their computer and returned the copy of check to me.  The Comcast rep assured me that this was proper procedure.  A short time later I received a collection notice from Comcast with no sight of the $625.00.  Back to Comcast office with the copy of the check.  Again I was assured that payment would be credited.  Guess what?  Yep! Another notice from Comcast.  So, phoned them to inquire what I had to do to get this payment recognized.  The Comcast rep told me to fax a copy of the check with account number to their offices which I did.  This morning I received a notice that my account was more than $1,000.00 past due and my services would be cut off.  When I contacted Comcast by phone this morning they said they had not received money."
