Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"A lunchtime stop at this diner led to a bill of $27.35 being presented to me. However, my wife noticed that the Visa receipt which I had signed was for $37.25 and stopped our departure from the diner forthwith. The cashier corrected the "mistake", voided one receipt and issued another one, but we left with the distinct impression that this juxtaposition of numbers from bill to receipt (which "got" me) was not a mistake at all but was rather something too easily accomplished in a diner where people come and go with some speed. I cannot ask for money, but I do ask that the ownership look at the wait staff on duty at 4/11/14 (at 14:14:05) and have a word about ethics and their impact on customers. We will NOT return to this diner.

  • It's really sad that your filing a petty claim against an honest mistake that was made and your money was refunded to you, obviously you have nothing better do then then come in and accuse my employes for nothing the have did wrong and the person you accused was the owner/manger witch would be me so I will reject your ridiculous offer have a nice day and thank for wasting my time.
