Claimant says:
"I hired Charles Kindred to build a deck on my home last year around March 23,2012. The parts and labor cost was $3500.00. I gave Charles $3000.00 to order supplies and payment. Owed a balance of $500.00. Charles did majority of work and it was pretty much completed around April, beginning May 2012. However Charles informed me that he would return to add shingles on roof covering and requested the balance of $500.00 to completely finish the deck. Due to him having some personal problems and me personally going through some illnesses timing passed and the roof work was not completed. I have called Charles several times to try to get this matter resolved because now the roof is damaged, it rains on my deck and some of the ceiling layer has torn off the roof because the wok wasn't completed. Due to a shoddy job I feel like it would cost me more money to replace the damaged roof and I know Charles is responsible and needs to pay to have work done to prevent further damage. I am requesting payment of whatever it would cost to have job corrected on my deck roof."
