Claimant says:
"I booked a room in April 2014, for 6/25-7/1 2014 through Expedia. com the pictures I saw on the internet looked like this was a nice place, and, it said it had an outdoor pool as one of the amentities, I thought that is great, I could have my children and grandchildren visit and use the pool. I arrived there shortly after midnight on 6/25 the owner told me I had to pay for an extra night, because check in time was 2pm. I didn't have a problem with that, then the owner tried his best to try and have me cancel the Expedia booking, I was suspicious and refused to do so. when I got the key and went to my room I was shocked, it was not anything like the pretty pictures I saw on the internet. the bed had no frame, it was just a box spring and mattress sat on the floor, I had no trash can. there was no door knob on the bathroom just the hole where the knob is supposed to be. the next morning I went to take a look at the pool, I was disappointed and horrified there was no water in the pool, and it was in disgusting condition. when I received towels they were stained and dirty looking. I stayed in the room for 7 days and not once did the sheets get changed. the condition of the place is far below substandard. after returning to KY which was not soon enough for me, I contacted Expedia.com to ask for half my money back, I explained that I paid more to stay in that dump for 7 days than I pay for a months rent of my apartment, the man I spoke with called the owner who said he would not give any refund, so now I am contacting your office, and my desire is not only get half the money back but full compensation, and under the circumstances I believe my request is fair. I would never stay in this place again and pray that no other traveler shares my experience, in my opinion this place should be shut down!"

  • my trip to your hotel was a total disappointment, I cannot believe you are allowed to run such an establishment, you can be sure I will contact every and all agencies at my disposal to shut you down if my demands are not met! I traveled 1,000 miles to stay in that dump which was no where close to what I was expecting due to the pretty internet pictures and the promise of a pool.

What Claimant Wants Hide
Message from Claimant: I cannot Believe this establishment is allowed to remain open, the condition is far below substandard and I would not recommend anyone stay there I paid for a nice room with the use of a pool and I got neither! if this hotel was shut down because of it's deplorable condition that would satisfy me more than receiving my money back, because then I know no other traveler would have to share my experience.
