The problem the customer has with his car is covered under the warranty he purchased and we have already offered to walk him through the process
We have a certified mechanic that looked and advised us that the warranty work was never done. Letting us leave with no emergency brake and leading us to believe that it was just a sensor problem is wrong. I left their shop at least 7 to 8 times with them telling me it was just a sensor problem. Then when the warranty kicked in they said it was the timing chain. Then the work was never done. When the Oil pressure light came on, they once again told me it was just a sensor and was no problem. They down played every situation and are showing by their comment that they really don't care about this situation. We are tired of the run around. They say they will let us trade in but get a run around about that as well. When are we going to get this resolved?? Was told the owner was to meet with us on Monday or Tuesday but that didn't happen. Funny they say they just want to make us "happy" but this is far from it.
The customer did his own brake job and, we can supply the paper work from tire depot as to the work being done already. We have offers to trade in the vehicle , it has been in an accident since originally being purchased which would lower the trade valueWe still offer to trade the vehicle in , or walk the customer through the warranty process and we would cover the deductible
The brake work we did had nothing to do with the fact the E-brake cable was wrapped around the wheel and something was broke off and wedged in the wheel. We have had motor problems with this vehicle from the beginning of our contract. We have no problem with doing a trade in. But the trade in value that was stated for us is unacceptable to us. That is where we have to discuss. The damage from the front end was only estimated at $2500.Which was at the high end. We do have 2 estimates that were done. You are only offering $7500 for a car that we still owe $1400. If you make a better offer for trade in especially since the major mechanical problems and E-Brake were not our fault. We can not afford to pay off 2 cars. We have paid for 6 months already and haven't driven the vehicle for a month and half that is was in the shop. And has been at the dealership for the last 2 wks. If we can come to an agreement on the trade in price and make a new deal before the end of the month, so we don't have to make another payments for a vehicle we are not using. We have no problem with working this out but the numbers need to make it affordable for us.
Are you needing to get another SUV ? And I assume around the same current payment as you have now , correct ?
Yes or at least credited a reasonable any towards something else. We are interested in tge Grand Cherokee Laredo you have.
I know it is more money and the payment would be more but if we were credited a reasonable amount and the price was adjusted I think it could work for us all. If BCU would give us a longer time period for the term that would help also. We just don't feel we should take a $10000 loss. We can't afford it. We have already paid $320 for the last 6 months. And $1500 down. With the $6500 loss that's $10000. Plus if you add $6500 to any other car we wouldn't be able to afford it. I hope you understand. Carlos has my number uf you want to talk more Thank you for responding. Sandy Parsons
according to this peoples claim portal , if I do not respond it generates negative reviews for my site. Is there a specific suv you were looking at for possible trade ?
Yes The Cherokee Laredo in McHenry.
2012 Grand Cherokee.
I will grab your file and work on it tonight or tomorrow morning and get back to you as soon I get some numbers together
Hi just wondering if you were able to come up with anything. We really want to get this over with before the end of the month. We can meet on Thursday morning if you would like to talk in person.
SO it has been over a week and no word back from you. I am assuming you are not going to do anything about this situation. We have really tried to communicate with you and the salesman, but to response from anyone. This just shows how professional your company really is. I was hoping by contacting the owner we would at least be able to work something out, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
Hi so we noticed your dropped the price on the Jeep we want, which no-one called and let us know. If you give us at least $9000, $9500 for our GMC. We will trade tomorrow. (Monday 5/22). We can end this whole situation. This has been going on for too long. I am sure you are just as tired of this as well. Please consider this offer. This would make John happy about what we are getting for the GMC and me happy that I get the truck we both like. This has been a nightmare for the last 7months. Please have Carlos jr. call me and we can end this tomorrow. Thank You Sandy Parsons
so may 31, still no resolution to this matter. their claim is that they don't want to lose money, I am the one losing money. the piece of crap vehicle they sold me is now going on 2 months sitting at their dealership, still getting the run around. called 2 weeks ago to have them fix the issues under the warranty that we purchased, even though we believe the prior work done and charged to the warranty co. was never done, and we have an independent mechanic to verify the findings. I was interested in trading the vehicle off for another on the lot, but also getting the run around. you took my 05 grand caravan in trade 1000, probably made good on resale due to there was nothing wrong with it, I buy your 2010 terrain and have had problems 3 days after the purchase , no emergency brake " done by your mechanic joe " he also installed a " knock sensor " done at your shop. timing chain ? I believe work was never done but you charged the warranty co. for it, now the low oil pressure light and warning bell saying shut engine off, along with the cadylic converter issues since day one. NOW YOU SAY YOU CANT DO THE WORK DUE TO CONFLICTS, IM TIRED OF THE RUNAROUND BE A MAN OR RUN A REPUTABLE DEALERSHIP TO SATISFY THE CONSUMER, NO RETURN CALLS BEING LIED TO JUST DONT CUT IT!!!
so this is how these people hide, obviously they don't care about the consumer, there is no longer a website for autovilla west, but they also have autovilla of grayslake Illinois. you say you will look things over or fix the vehicle, all straight up lies .............. the vehicle has been at your dealership over 2 months now and we still get the runaround. this makes me truly believe previous work done or might I say never done, you say yes, I think not by my own certified mechanic findings. what are you people hiding ?????? MAYBE A FRAUD CASE IS WHAT I NEED TO PERSUE, YOU CHARGED THE WARRANTY COMPANY 1600 DOLLARS FOR A TIMING CHAIN. THERE WAS NEVER AN ISSUE CONCERNING THE TIMING CHAIN, ALL ISSUES WERE TOLD TO US BY YOUR MECHANIC WERE SOLINOID ISSUES CADYLLIC CONVERTER AND NOW LOW OIL PUMP PRESSURE SHUT ENGINE OFF, you put on a camshaft knock sensor on the vehicle, now all these issues have came to light after the work that you did along with the previous issues. I want the truck fixed properly and to run proper for the 15000 dollars I paid you for it !!!! IS THIS WHAT THE CONSMER GETS FROM YOUR DEALERSHIP ????? LIES AND DECEPTION.
OOOH Just found out that there is no "conflict of interest" when it comes to doing warranty work at any dealership. Another lie. You guys just keep them coming don't you. No wonder you don't sleep at night. When are you going to make this right??
Yea Its not over yet.
