Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"
I entered into a legal binding contract to have All Star Vacations to achieve the highest revenue for my rental home, (which is located in Reunion Resort) and hold them to the highest standard in taking care of my home.   The agreement was to manage my rental home, service, housekeeping, and to perform preventive maintenance and maximumize my revenue potential. They have failed miserably has a Company. The accounting department is horrific, with no owner rental statements being sent. No rental income or statements, tax forms received after countless phone calls, emails and texts to their Corporate team.  I have received no rental income since May 2016!  I HAVE NOT RECEIVED my $ 21566.59 in owner's rental income.  
Here are a the following problems: 1. Unpaid and late fees of over $400.00 in late finance charges of  utilities not being paid on time
2. Upon arrival to my rental home, ( for a mini-vacation), I had to call 3 different times to have All Star come out and do a complete cleaning of bathrooms and power wash the patio and pool area, clean back patio after repairs made to balcony floor.   The charged me for the cleaning of $ 600.00.   Breakdown is $ 350.00 for cleaning and then $ 250.00 for pressure washing. There should not have been a charge, after it was already charged to my account prior. 
3. Expensive Duvets, encasements,  bedding, shams, coffee maker, housewares, pots, pans, pool towels constantly missing to over $1800.00 that has been NEVER REPLACED.  I have had to repurchase all these items again to get my home rental ready for the new Company.  NO ACCOUNTABILITY! Their responsiblity is to keep my property in tip top shape for guests.
4.The washer and dryer constantly breaking down (should have been under warranty) and All Star kept charging for outrageous service repairs. total was over $1200.00. Which at that point, I could have purchased a brand new set.  Never looked at the repeat service calls.
5.  Outdoor grill is always under repair. After repairs and costs of $ 561.00 still not working. 
6.  Power washing costs of $200.00 for a total of 35 minutes is ridiculous. I watched them. 
7. No preventive maintenance of air conditioning and furnace. No filters being changed in over 1 1/2 years until I contacted them.
8. No signage anywhere in rental home in regards to safety of the guests. No pool signs, no exit plans, no emergency plans, or fire extinguishers.  
I have had to make constant phone calls, texts and emails to Mr. Steve Trover and his Corporate team. After being a loyal customer since June 2013, I thought I would get the common courteous of a phone call and my monies.  As of January 7, 2017, I have had enough and terminated my contract by mail with All Star Vacation homes.  The present Company (Magical Homes) have also reached out to All-Star to obtain my monies with no avail.  The last email that I received was a "Let's Make a Deal" on April 7, 2017 from Mr. Trover stating that they are restructuring their Company again.  On April 12, 2017, another email saying that he will work to pull together a repayment plan. Phone calls to All Star indicated Mr. Trover is now out of the country on vacation.
ABSOLUTELY NO MONIES HAVE BEEN RECEIVED.  Even though my 1099 Form for US Department of Treasury indicates that I received this income.

  • Are these people licensed real estate agents and/or Realtors? If so, make a formal complaint to the licensing entity within the State and the Board of Realtors (if they are Realtors). If that is no help, make a police complaint. In my opinion it is theft to accept payment on someone's behalf and then retain it.
