"Refund for repairs and overcharges. orig contract 6/2012 to install 3 heat pump systems with 5 yr guarantee, prepare all rebate paperwork. Rebate papers only completed on 2 systems, leaving me witha $500. loss ( he later told me he wasnt capable to complete the J manual papers needed for rebate (another lie).So this year he prepped a fraudulent bill, I did not submit this bill, as it was illegal. When installation of systems another contractor(his friend) was repairing the shingles on house, I thought this was cause of system not working, as he had to refill freon R410A, month later. Contractor always promised to return and fix problems after countless s breakdowns ( did not air condition or heat when needed). He only returned this spring to charge me $200. for "service cleaning",which I learned was not needed, another overcharge!Finally after many promises to return and fix problem, but never did show up, only lied again and again, I called a professional contractor 9/30/13 to repair and anylize the project, they used a 40ft ladder to inspect the system,and determined the connection was fine ,but there was small kink caused by the installer, the issue was they cheated on the coolant used, as they had to evacuate all lines and properly install the needed coolant,R410A. Cost $700.I want refund of $500 loss rebate, $200 overcharge on phony service, and $ 700. cost to repair his" guaranteed" job, that certainly was not. Dec 2,2013 response, on 9/30/2013 I had a real pro inspect the job,and it was determined ,no leak at connections, but the system was never properly charged, and thus underperformed due to poor and unlicensed contractor work, Blaming someone else for his poor work will not fly.!I will sue for moneys owed me."
