Claimant says:
"My mother passed away on December 30, 2016. Leaving behind 5 adult children. On January 4th was her funeral service. On January 5, 2017 her husband (my step father) was admitted into Memorial Hospital in South Bend, Indiana. Due to Liver Cancer they pumped him immediately with morphine. On January 18, 2017 he passed away. His adult son and step fathers sisters went into the home, changed locks and refused entry by all my mothers children. The home was in his family (grandmother) prior, my step father and mother who took a mortgage in their name, paid out all his (step father) siblings. My step brother has been emptying the home since his fathers passing. My sisters and myself live in Florida, 2 brothers live in Indiana. When does the state of Indiana intervene? There was no will. I need to have closure for both my mother and step father (whom I considered a father). This is tearing our family further apart. My mother verbally asked that I take care of a few items within the home. Now I am being told they do not exist. I need assistance with the legality of this.
