Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"This was a review placed on Yelp a week after a disgrutled employee, Kelly Pomarico, left our company. I as the owner of JonCar Realty do not know this person, whether they are real or fictitious, and find her comments to be slanderous. None of her statements relate to any specific incident, I believe it was written by a personal friend or relative of Kelly. As a sales associate to my company, Kelly was an independent contractor, and therefore, I did not have direct contact with her clients.

  • There unfortunately seems to be a lot of similar complaints about Yelp, including websites that have become dedicated to complaints about the site. It seems that the best way to combat the negative reviews is to actually answer them on Yelp. Be respectful and polite, and indicate that it seems that the person making the complaint may be a disgruntled former employee that left the employment of your company. That way, at least the people that use Yelp can see your rebuttal in the issue.
