Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"On the 19th of November I ordered a business and a private telephone line with Vodafone but told them that my business line was most important. I received my private line! I reserved my telephone numbers so that I could start printing with the telephone numbers that I already had. I waited several months to receive my business line (I started my own business in December) but to no avail. Then I became angry and told them to cancel the other contract and change my private line over to the business line. I sent them a fax which they said they never received even though my fax did not print out that the message failed. on the 24th of April I sent the fax again. This time they received it and sent me new telephone numbers without informing me. I had already printed my letterhead paper, catalogs, business cards, stamps, etc. and called all over the whole world and sent e-mails all over the whole world informing my new customers of my telephone and fax numbers. Vodafone sent new telephone numbers to my "easy box" server on the 4th of May and I received a letter from them on the 9th of May stating that I have new telephone numbers. 5 days long I did not have a telephone nor internet. I called Vodafone on the 4th of May and the hotline did not know that I had new numbers. They told me they would report that my telephone does not work. After receiving the letter, I called again and demanded to have my telephone numbers back. I only wanted that they change my private line into a business line with my company name on the invoice. Since the 4th of May I have been calling almost every day but they only say they don't understand how this could happen and that the technicians have been informed. My husband connected the new telephone numbers that they sent me so that I could at least call out and have internet but I need MY telephone numbers for all of my customers! I have threatened with lawyers. I have asked them nicely. I have yelled at them. I have called many times and written several letters but they do not care. Since the 4th of May I do not have my telephone numbers and it is late on the 23rd of May. The next problem is that I live in a small town and our only option is Vodafone. They certainly are taking advantage of this! I don't know why they sent me new numbers and I don't know why they cannot change it back! I received a letter from Sabine Wagner and was welcomed as a new customer. As I asked to speak to her, I was informed this was not possible. There is no Sabine Wagner. This is only a name they thought up to put on letters. There is not a contact person at Vodafone! There is only the the hotline with the horrible neverending music and people at the other end telling me to send the bill for all the business that I lost since I no longer have my telephone numbers. They just don't care! It is very frustrating. At first they told me it would take 24 hours to solve this problem. Then they said when I called again 48 hours. Last week, on the 16th of May they said I would have my numbers by the 18th of May. We called again last night. "The technicians have been informed."And now? Should I call hundreds of customers and give them my new number? Or will Vodafone really give me my numbers back? I was informed by Telekom that normally this only takes 2 days at the most!"
