Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I was paying for a service I found out I didn't have 7 months later, It led to over data usage on my cell phone acct and getting multiple calls on "my" land line which apparently got crossed somehow with a drs office? The internet Wi-Fi I thought I had was actually neighbors or a dunkin donuts I have nearby that we were bouncing off of! I basically was paying for a drs office phone. So a week or so ago they canceled my internet (which I never had to begin with) and land line, sent a 3rd technician out to my home, started a new account. Yesterday I actually received a bill for installation and new service? This was after I was told by Verizon I would be credited back for the 7 months. Now for the past week I have spent HOURS on the phone with Customer service and Supervisors (I think) telling there is no reasonable reason why I should be rebated MY $ when there are no notes over the past month saying what I'm stating is true??? They have rebated my new service charges, but that's it. As I figured it, they still owe me $476. I actually had someone tell me "why were you paying for a service you didn't have!" I told them I didn't know I didn't have service til your people informed me of it last week!!!
I have no idea who reads these and what to do next. I was told by friends to write here and possibly hire an attorney..i really don't have $ for that as I'm a single mom. If anyone can help me out there it would be greatly appreciated!

  • 12-17-2015 — roughly this date stated service of internet and a land line with Verizon
  • 07-11-2016 — started noticing data overages on my cell phone account with AT&T. Also the calls for drs office was increasing. My personal calls werent coming thru and being sent to an automated VM. My modem was needing to be reset 10-12 times a day. Call tech support. This is when all the problems began with realizing i didnt actually have service
  • 07-27-2016 — 2nd tech came out and supposedly fixed my service. A week or so later realized i still didnt have any service with verizon as phone calls for this Drs office continued
  • 08-08-2016 — 3rd service tech came out and said my service was not on and my wifi was bouncing off neighbors and buisnesses that offered free wifi. We were still not under verizon service til this tech turned us on at the pole in front of my house and down the street,
  • 08-15-2016 — received a new bill for NEW SERVICE and first months bill. I callled to explain there was credit that i was told to be on my account to make up for all the problems. Was eventually sent to another supervisor. Was told there are no notes or records of any problems to my acct, Described the last service tech and time he was here to confirm what i was saying happened. They cant locate him..(convenient) Another 3 hrs later and again another supervisor i was told there is no FEASABLE reason to credit me back any of what i have paid to this company. They said it shows i used the phone service, I said Yeah to answer the upset elderly people trying to contact their podiatrist!!!! Up until a couple hrs ago on 8/17 the first phone number i had from this company was still working for the drs office, It is also still listed on the web. Whenever someone tried to reach me at my home it would be sent to an automated voice mail from verizon. Everyone gave up trying to reach me on home phone and only calls my cell phone now.
