Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"My name is George Stauffer of 4801 Cloverlawn Dr. Grants Pass, Or 97527

since October 2015 i have not been able to get packages delivered to my home.
The postperson intensonaly leaves and packages in the distribution center and leaves
a notice in my rural mail box with the comment that i can pick them up the next day
i have been told that i live within the bounds of home delivery of mail that will not
fit in my required box, and each sender having paid full price expects full service. At
last christmas time a package of food products sent 3 day arrived and was here in time
to be delivered the last work day but had been left behind until i could get it after the
holiday, This has happenedn6 times and I have tried to reach the postmaster to no avail
and the manager of the distribution center responded after Christmas politely but nothing changed. The strange thing is that i can be expected to drive 7 miles to the other end of
town but they cant drive 500 feet up my driveway. the previous delivery person when
necessary would drive up to my parking area sound their horn while facing the house
wait for the few minutes it took for someone to respond then turn around safely and
depart. this system had worked sucessfuly for 25 years and through mud snow and rain."
