"I have a quote from UBS for two pieces of granite, 14"x14"x22" and the quotes shows $90 for each piece. UBS has refused to honor their quote, saying that the quote was incorrect. I am seeking help in making them honor a written quote."

  • The bottom line is that UBS provided a quote then refused to honor their quote - PERIOD. This happened to me and I suspect others who accept using a vendor who choses when and if they will honor their written quote. I did take my business elsewhere, locally. I now receive better pricing from a local vendor who is honest and who doesn't practice shady business practices! I hope UBS slips into bankruptcy - they deserve it.

  • So show the world where you bought this granite in question for $180 or less as you indicated you could from your regular supplier (you told the BBB "that the (orig) price is within the range of being competitive for similar material".), or admit that a mistake is a mistake(luckily it was caught in time before you even ordered it). As for your damning us and wishing bankruptcy upon us, you are doing that as well to 164 hardworking staff here at UBS, and to their families. Not nice. We have helped customers in our trading area for 77 years as a same family operated business. That doesn't happen often as you suggest to people who "practice shady business practices" Admit that people can make mistakes. It wasn't even our mistake and we offered to have the person who made the mistake explain it to you. But you would evidently prefer to slander. Also not nice.
