Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"On 9/13 the amount of $29.95 was deducted from my Visa debit/creditcard, in other words directly from my bank account.
I had no idea who Thinktank was, nor had I ordered anything from a company by that name. So I looked them up online, I still do not know what they sell, except a credit report, which I do not need with one Visacard and never ordered it. There were numerous complaints online of the same nature I call THEFT.
I herewith make an official complaint to the BBB and Attorney General of CA, that this company has to be stopped and the stolen amount of $29.95 be returned to my bank account.
Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely,
Christiane Pistor

  • Dear Administration.
I had been out of the country and just returned and contacted Think Credit. They insisted I had given an order online which I deny vehemently, and there is no record or receipt for such an order online They refused to give any refund but agreed to cancel any further deductions.

I will definitely continue my case against this fraudulent company and want a complete refund. Please, make this my case public and advise how I can proceed.
Thank you very much for your help.
    Sincerely,

  • Very interesting is that as of 10/12 I had a deduction of $19.95 for IdSafelock which is part of Think Credit, The same amount was deducted on 11/12. On both dates I had been out of the country and was not able to place any order or mark a Yes for IDSafelock which they claim I did. They immediately however agreed to refund the last charge of $19.95.Also there has never been any record or receipts that I had ever placed an order with ThinkCredit or IDLock online, as they claim. Because of these strange circumstances, (especially that the charge for IDSafelock occurred one month later than the original charge for ThinkCredit) I would like to continue and make an official and formal complaint against this company, Should I do it through the Business Consumer Alliance or will you handle it for me? Please advise.
Thank you very much for your help.
    Sincerely,
    Christiane Pistor

  • There has been another Charge for ThinkCredit on 10/19/13 in the amount of 19.95 and one for IDLock on 10/12/13 in the amount of 19.95

  • Nov 18, 2013, Claiming party added:
  • The charge for ThinkCredit for !0/19/13 was 29.95, not 19.95 as previously stated and IDSafelock started deducting 10.95 on 9/11/13.

  • Nov 18, 2013, Claiming party added:
  • I have now checked all my bank records of 2013 and came to this conclusion:
ThinkCredit started charging US29.95 on 7/20/13
    US29.95 on 8/19/13
    US29.95 on 9/13/13
    US29.95 on 10/19/13
IDSafeLock started charging US19.95 on 8/12/13
    US19.95 on 9/11/13
    US19.95 on 10/12/13
    US19.95 on 11/12/13
That brings the total to US199.60 plus US7.99 for posting fee = US207.59
As of today 11/18 ThinkCredit refunded US29.95 which brings the amount to
US 177.64. I insist on a full refund of this amount US177.64
