Claimant says:
"Over 5 years ago I and my son were using T-Mobile and were very pleased with the service. My son, a college student, was on a coop assignment for a year in Aberdeen, MS, and upon his move we discovered there was no T-M service in his area. We called T-M and the rep confirmed there was not service at his address and there were not towers planned in the near future to be placed there. He agreed that my son would cancel his service and get a local service. I thought this exceptionally generous to allow this. He said there would be NO penalty charges due to the circumstances. I kept my service with T-Mobile until the contract expired and the only reason I did not renew was that my husband's company went to another provider and he wanted me on the same provider network. Now- 5 years later a collection company is sending me a collection letter. There should be taped conversations of the rep's agreement. Is this your standard of business now? If so, I am greatly disappointed and will surely let others know not to take the word of your representatives.
