Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"When I bought my Sprint phone Samsung galaxy 11, they lied to me about service in my area Hartsdale NY 10530. There was no or very little net work service there, towers were down. I asked for my money back again they lied to me. After 5 months of little or no network they offered me $ 40. I want all my money back and be able to cancel service with Sprint at no charge.

I have no idea who's going to read this letter,but I'm pretty sure if you bought something you would want what you pay for or a less be honest and say we have little or no service in your area Sprint is a bunch of thieves. I'm wondering how many other people have a problem with them. This should go public, there are so many better companies out there

    Randy Hanser That would save what 1 whole penny on my bill, three lines at 10$ a piece for data. I hate these big cell phone companies, they loop you in with what you think is a great deal then nail you, and your stuck in the contract. Can't wait I'm almost done and it will be bye to sprint and your $220 bill.

    Shannon D Juarez My phone FINALLY started getting 4g in random places in San Diego, to bad in 4g its still half the speed of my my friends verizon phones in 3g. and even with 4g and full signal i get "network errors" all the time cant wait for my contract to expire to leave them

    Thomas Payne I live in Charleston and have been paying a. Extra like 10 a month for the 4g service that we don't get for over 2 years. My contract is up in about 2 weeks and prob goina seek other provider. Its sad when at.t and t mobile can get over 8 meg plus and Sprint you can't even get 1meg . No wonder its unlimited you can't get it fast enough to use any bandwith

    Jenna Knight it seems that some of the customer service reps that i have gotten are just stuck on stupid and they do not understand the issues that i presented. so i hang up and i call back in to finally get someone who sounds like they have some sort of intelligence. i had to call 11 times to get one issue on my phone taken care of. there is no need for that at all

    Michael Moody I got an Iphone 4S sprint in Houston but their data service sucks, I'll have full 5 bar signal on 3G and the speed is measured slower than edge network. Thinking about going back to T-mobile, they carry Iphones now.

    Marcelino Casias I've been with Sprint for 16 years and their customer service and phone service has gotten worse and worse every year. I can't even make or received calls from my own house anymore. Half the time they are having "signal issues" that prevent me from using my phone at all in my area but somehow, I am still required to pay full price for their services. If I want a new phone, I have to pay activation fees which is a joke since they'll be getting a payment from me for the next two years. Sprint, you suck. Thank god I can take the phone number I've had for 16 years with me to another carrier.

  • I understand your concerns and do feel that there is some room for negotiation. However, I am concerned about the amount of money you are requesting. Certainly you did not pay $1,800 for your phone and asking for such a dramatic amount above and beyond actual damages may not encourage Sprint to work with you. I would advise visiting a local Sprint store and asking to speak with a manager. Before you go, think about what would truly make this right. If there is no manager to speak with, ask when they will be available. Although this is upsetting to feel you have been ripped off, remember to handle yourself in a professional manner. The old adage applies: you get more flies with honey than vinegar. Good luck in resolving this claim.
