Claimant says:
"Third party texting to my cell phone without consent and allowed by Sprint @ a cost of $9.99 per call . These are added to your monthly bill with the revenue going to Sprint. I called Sprint ( Jason ) and they explained they know of this behavior, can't remove all of the charges as they can only go back so far !!!!! Then they will at your request block the texting. I feel this is a fraudulent practice because this is not mentioned when the contractual agreement is being engaged with the consumer. This lack of disclosure costs the consumer staggering costs if this practice is universal which I am sure it is. The unwilljngness to remove all of these unwanted texts by Sprint is unethical. I have never had a late bill with my Sprint cell phone account until they started allowing these texts to be billed to my phone. This money making scheme needs to stop. I think the attorney general and who ever should be alerted to this fraud / crime."
