Claimant says:
"I paid them for 2 persons to do a trip Haines "Valley of the Eagles' Tour with lunch in Skagway, Alaska on July 14, 2010 at 9:30am. I had asked them if they could accomodate a person using a wheelchair that couldn't walk. They said yes. When I arrived there for the tour they said they couldn't help my friend get on a bus because they had no lift. The trip was operated by Alaska Nature Tours, Skagway. My booking number was 100602130. They said we would get a refund. We have been denied a refund of $306. The other Shore Trips tours in 3 other places accommodated us. One with a lift, one with a car and one carried the wheelchair on the bus. They have no right to keep the money. The most they were out were two tickets for a ferry. The leader said they would refund. We have talked and emailed with Julie Karp. She has after our conversation when she said she would consider. She failed to return phone calls to further discuss this. They have failed in their responsiblity. My travel agent is unhappy with this and will not deal with them in the future because they were unsatisfactory. I should have been able to receive a call back and just had them drop this"
