Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"On or about February 3, 2014 I was contacted by a representative and agreed to purchase a trial offer for 29.95, with 14 days to cancel after receiving product, or I would be billed for additional products each month. I called on or about around Feb. 17, 2014 to check on status since I had not received product and the customer service representative informed me that the product was on its way. However, on February 27, 2014, I still had not received product and noticed my account was credited for $229.93 by the company. I contacted the 800 number that same day and spoke to customer service rep. Mike and he made a record and told me he would give it to appropriate people for my refund of $229.93. From that time on in March I contacted employer's customer service reps once or twice a week and spoke to either Mike, or supervisor Maria, or Joyce. I was told either the system was down and my account could not be pulled up or they informed me that my account was given to billing and they were waiting for billing to give them the ok that I would be paid. I did finally receive the trial product sometime in the middle March. I contacted the customer service in late March and I was being told that my refund would take 7 to 10 days to show up on my account. After waiting for 10 days I contacted Supervisor Maria on April 3, 2014 again and she informed me that she had sent my request for a refund 5 times already to billing and she was frustrated as to why they hadn't gotten back with her but she will submit it again. She told me to contact her on Friday, April 4th after 3:00 PM, which I did but was told that she left early and to call her on Monday, February 7th, which I did and was told she left early again but I made sure they informed her that I had been trying to reach her. I called again on Tuesday, April 8th and finally talked to Supervisor Maria and she basically told me there was nothing else she could do and I asked her for the employer's address and informed her that I would be contacting the Better Business Bureau. She gave me the employer's contact information requested.fly explain your problem with this party."
