Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"Took my watch in for quote for repair of broken stem. I refused the repair and returned to pick up the watch they could NOT find all the parts. After looking for some time they Angelo Cherta Mgr) said that it would be repaired at NO CHARGE for my inconvenience. I've filed two complaints with Sears Holding Co and all that say is that (vie e-mail) the case # 5966579 is closed. When you call they won't talk to you nor will the store manager Randy Baird. All I want them to do is what THEY offered to do.

  • We would note that when this complaint was forwarded to us (and still) it did not include any way to contact Mr. Bradley except the message feature through People Claim. Accordingly, at that time our Social Media dept (they were attempting to handle these via this company) put a message into the case for Mr. Bradley to contact them. Without any specific contact infomration, such as an address or phone number, we have no way to check to see if Mr. Bradley ever responded by emailing the address they provided. At this time though, even if Mr. Bradley does provide his contact information it would be entirely too late for us to provide any real investigation on the issue because of the length of time that has elapsed since the incident occurred.

  • The complaint remains over 4 years old, and we still do not have Mr. Bradley's contact information. We apologize if Mr. Bradley feels we are saying something that is not true, but as People Claim is aware, you do not share the consumer's information with the business; this is something the consumer would have to provide via private message. We would normally then ask Mr. Bradley to supply us with this information, but again, due to the length of time since the incident occurred, we do not want to give him the expectation that any resolution would be possible as it would be hard to investigate the issue now at this late date as records would no longer be available nor could we interview the people involved and expect them to recall a situation that took place over 4 years ago.
