Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I purchased a 2004 Chev Tahoe in May 2006. Citifinancial Auto was the financial institution at the time of purchase. After having the vehicle for about a year, Santander Consumer USA took over as the financial Institution. The vehicle was to be paid off in April 2013. I am not behind with any payments. I called Santander Consumer USA Inc, and told them that May 2013 was my last and final payment. I was told by someone in the customer service dept that I had to pay another year. I asked why. The person I spoke with told me that I had been late and that I had a payment pushed back., etc, etc. I am still making payments. I would like to file this complaint. My original signed sale contract maturity date is May 2013. On my monthly statement Santander has changed my Maturity Date to 11/27/2013, with an estimated pay off $5,658.32. I would like to recoupe all monies (payments) paid past May 2013 Maturity date. My monthly payment is 680.61. I sincerely thank you for your immediate attention in this matter."
