Claimant says:
"Some friends and I rented a boat from this business. We were supposed to leave at 7am, the boat was not ready until 9am. We were on our way to are fishing point and the boats motor stopped working... the gear shaft gave way. We waited for four hours to be towed after having to impersonate as the business owner to use Sea Tow or we would have been stranded hours longer. Ofcourse we wanted a refund for that day and another boat to take the place of the one we had for the 3 days we had rented the boat for. They did not have a replacement boat. Obviously we would want a full refund. One of my buddies paid cash and received it the following day. My Visa transaction was dated on the 24th day of July 2016 for $671.88 for my portion of the rental. I have been told verbally and by numerous text that I would be refunded. It is now November and I have not seen a dime. The owner has told me twice that the refund has been done, but never was. Now, I don't even get a return text or phone call from the Owner anymore. I am now going this route before getting lawyers involved."
