Claimant says:
"I went on the internet to look for locksmiths. Their ad was the first one and was attracted to the ad because they stated a $15.00 fee. When I called the Florin #(916)993-3159 I was told the $15.00 fee is what is charged for showig up. Then I was given a price between $35.00 to $60.00 depending on what had to be done. I was asked if I would like a driver to call me I responded by saying yes. When the driver called he asked me what type of vehicle do you have; I responded by saying a Chevy Astro van. He told me it would be $60.00 and asked me if I wanted to do the service. I said yes. The ad stated that their response time is fifteen minutes. It took him 50 minutes. When the driver arrived he explained that he would not be able to use the slim jim because of wires being in the door. He would have to use the air pressure cuff and it would be $89.00; I was surprised at this because I had locked my keys in the car the week before and the driver was there in ten minutes and I was charged $50.00. His response was basically too bad, that's the price and do you want me to continue. I didn't really feel I had a choice, so I said yes. After unlocking the car I reached for my purse to get my money and stated $89.00 correct and he said no $150.00. He never said that each quote was being added to the next price. I felt I was taken advantage of because I was alone and a girl. After the driver left I called the Florin #and was told the invoice wasn't in the computer yet and to call back in twenty minutes; when I called back I was given a different# with not much help; in fact he hung up on me each time we talked.
