"I BOUGHT A KING MATTRESS SET ($1250.81) FROM ROOMS TO GO, LAKELAND STORE ON THURSDAY, APRIL 5, 2018 AND IT WAS DELIVERED ON MONDAY, APRIL 9, 2018. WHEN I PURCHASED THIS MATTRESS, I STRESSED THAT I COULD NOT SLEEP ON A FIRM MATTRESS DUE TO BACK SURGERIES AND MAJOR OSTEOARTHRITIS. I TRIED TO SLEEP ON THE MATTRESS LAST NIGHT (4/9/2018), IT WAS SO FIRM, IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE. AT 3:30 AM, I COULD NOT HANDLE IT ANY LONGER DUE TO TERRIBLE PAIN. I TOOK PAIN MEDICATION, BUT IT DID NOT SEEM TO HELP.I WAS IN SUCH PAIN, THAT I WAS SICK ALL THIS MORNING. MY SALESMAN WAS NOT WORKING AND WOULD NOT BE BACK UNTIL THURSDAY, SO I SPOKE WITH THE STORE MANAGER AND EXPLAINED THAT I NEEDED TO CHANGE OUT THE MATTRESS, WHICH I WAS TOLD I COULD DO IF I NEEDED TO DO SO. HE SAID THEY WOULD NOT TALK CHANGE UNTIL I HAD AT LEAST TRIED IT FOR 30 DAYS. THAT IS STUPID, I KNOW I CAN NOT SLEEP ANOTHER MOMENT ON THIS MATTRESS OR I WILL BE IN THE HOSPITAL. WHY WASTE 30 DAYS? I THINK MOST PEOPLE CAN TELL BEFORE 30 DAYS THAT IT IS NOT WORKING FOR THEM. THE STORE MANAGER HUNG UP ON ME AND SAID HE COULD NOT HELP ME."

  • This problem had nothing to do with the manufacturer's Warranty. It was all problems with Rooms to Go not trying to help a customer exchange a mattress that was totally unsatisfactory. They agreed to deliver exchange mattress by express delivery on Monday, March 16, but on Friday, I was called and they informed me that express delivery can not be done for exchanges and was rescheduled for delivery on Wednesday,4/18/18 between the time of 3 pm and
    7 pm. They arrived at my home at 6:55 pm. This is lousy service. I am a 74 year old senior citizen with many health problems.
